Hi guys i have removed the valves,just used a g clamp and a bolt.Put the bolt on the side off the valve then tightened the clamp,worked a dream.

I'm surprised a valve spring compressor wouldn't work with your CA18 cylinder head. It's basically the same thing but with a forked end.

Nah the usual valve remover wouldnt work as the springs are recessed down in the head about 1.5"like elemental_funk said.Glad that im not putting them back in.

Glad you got it sorted. I was going to say make sure you use safety glasses if you use a g clamp, i have a scar on my forehead from when it slipped off and the tool popped up.
