the story in the mag wasnt full feature it was one of the short ones in the back of the mag, and i think all the text is there. White one

its tempting to do up a 1000 like that (18det etc) but I reckon the 1200 would handle better/cheaper to improve for struts/brakes. so 1 day I will get hold of a 1200 ute, maybe even upgrade (one carport so i cant collect unfortunately).
I put a holley 180 on the ute over the long weekend and I'm taking it to the guy that did the tuning on the ute featured in the link I posted - he may have some good advice on upgrading the cam as well??

I'm happy with the list of mods I have lined up for it already:
high energy ignition kit
digital tacho
programmable ignition
headers (not sure what brand they are but they're 2 into 1 for a 2 inch exhaust
disc brake front
holley in but being tuned next thursday.
and I'm interested in buying either a GPS or a digital speedo kit (either one is accurate at telling speed in Kilometres/hr) but the kit is a bit cheaper

GPS speedo, ive never heard of this. how much does it cost? my 1200 ute reads 120k when doing only 100, and ive wanted to fix this for ages.
