2" will fit, but will be down a little HP compare to 1.75". 2" pipe is good for a 120 HP engine, which is about almost double that of a a stock A15.

Mated A15 to 60l Gearbox today Ready to put it in the 1200.Put A12 flywheel new clutch an pressureplate Belray oil in gearbox.Will seperate engine to put it in because i done have an engine crane..

Looks great!

All A15 came with 60-series transmission and used an engine plate to align the throwout bearing correctly (B310 throwout bearing sleeve). So when fitting the thinner A12 flywheel (a non-stock combination), it must be compensated for by removing the A15 engine plate. Or you could use the 1200 throwout bearing sleeve with the engine plate installed.

Update

A15 block lifted in and bolted on the engine mounts Today.Everything should goo well from here,Ilike the new Colour scheme

Here are some close up pics on the Engine mounts that i made up to accomodate the mounting points of the late block into early crossmember.Ihave them made for my previous a12 so i just swapped them over!

How did you fasten down the E-series distributor?

Did you make a bracket like this, or are you using some other method?

Thanks It is looking good
Surly will be using this method But the distributor isn't bolted to the block yet

I also dived underneat and put up the 60 series gerbox without scraping her up,I also had made the custom bracket to bolt it in place took us 2 hours or so but in the end it was all good chucked in tailshaft,and shifted some gears

I also have to get my thurmoswitch put into my radiator and mount up Electric fan.
