What thread Is the steering box shaft? That bolts the pitman arm to.i know it's m16 but what pitch thread? Looks to be a "fine" thread??

1.50 pitch - 10 threads every 15 millimeters

Got the nut today but dosnt fit.so Eaither the nut they gave me wasn't a 1.5 thread like i asked them or the shaft is different.might ring Nissan and order threw them tomorrow

It is not a 1.5 thread.i had 3 1.5 nuts that don't fit.i think it's more like 1.25

For M16 threads, there are three likely pitches. 1.5 is the fine thread.

It is not a 1.5 thread.it looks like a finer thread like 1.25

Sorry dd you were right it was 1.5.turned out the end of my steering shaft was destroyed sovi cut the end 5mm off now nut goes on perfect.thanks :)
