yeah my mate has a 1200 coupe he has spent over $30000 on it and its the best one ive seen, hes poured that much mone into the engine its not funny, did all the internals etc and has a big t04 running like 26pound or something like that, i dont know all that much about it but they were expecting it to run over 250rwkw on the dyno. but they bled it the wrong way or something and boost spiked to 32 or something like that and put a piston through the block at 4000rpm. so hes rebuilding it again and building it beter this time, should be unbreakable. i think he might be looking to sell it when he finishes for around $1400 if anyone is interested. its orange with all the chrome bits powder coated black, full cage and retrimmed interior, buckets and harnesses reset leafs camber tops, springs shocks all that expected stuff. its a really nice car

The 1200 ute in question is nothing special, it's no stand out. I think he is asking $ 20000 more than i'd pay for a ute. I think it's one of those "whatever turns you on" thing with those wheels. It's pretty but it isn't a 30 grand car.

???? i never seen a single issue of "fast fours" magizine, i live in U.S.A,,, ?so i have a stupid question... ok /// ??does fast fours mean; fast four cylinder motor cars, or fast four door cars???? ??? .. ... ...
oh yeah,, it sounds to me, like that dude is asking way too much for his 1200...BUT, that saying about you dont get the money back that you put into a car, when you sell it is NOT true... ,,, i would only sell my 510 for like $4,300.oo "i have had offers bigger" but i only put in $2,600.oo at the most... ,, i sold a previous car for $5,000.oo and put in 3,200.oo.. ... i have sold like three or four cars like that before...
anyways... ... ... .. .. ...

It was originally called Fast Fours and Rotaries, but in recent times has been reduced to just Fast Fours, and yes it means as in Four cylinders, although it also features rotaries and the occasional six

yeah i agree enos1 with the making money thing. i have make a grand or two on all the dats i have owned so far but it seems that its always possible to make money on cars untill you do a big engine conversion eg. ca or sr and put work into it, also pouring money into suspension etc. before you know it you have spent close to 20 or 30 grand and most of the time you wont get even close to it back, this especially when people spend #### loads respraying and restoring it. i know 1 or 2 peopel that spend all that money on a car then sell it a month or two after they have finished and lose thousands then do it all over again. doesnt make much sence to me? if i ever poor that sort of money into a car i would plan on keeping it
