Yes. And many of us prefer EFI.

If the only problem is the computer going bad, I'd move it to a cooler place, away from the heat and vibration of the engine. You could also use a MegaSquirt ECU to replace the bad computer, they are less expensive.

The manufacturer told me it could take 190. Deg. F. THe original position was dead on top of the manifold at the hottest spot of the engine. I moved it to the outside and put a fan on it with a thermostat. It never got above 140. The next time i moved it completely off the machine figuring that the vibration killed it since the heat had been solved. Each time I moved it and thought I had it solved. This time I extended the cable 4' and its under my box truck in a water tight box. No heat and no vibration. It's is actually number 4 counting the first.

Just saw a megaSquirt and it has the same connector that zenith uses. Strange coincidence except they use black instead of grey

It is a Zenith ZEEMS throttle body EFI system along with matching ECU computer
