Does anyone know where to get a service kit (inc gaskets) for the A12t HITACHI flat top twin carbs ( I'm told the carbs are model HJL-38W but it is not stamped on them anywhere. Can anyone confirm this is the model number for these)?

Hitachi ID markings are inked (not stamped) onto the float bowl housing.




I bought my service kits on eBay. They appear from time to time. Then I found out they rarely need a service kit. It is mostly metal crimp gaskets, which are reusable, and the dome gasket, which often is reusable. See http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... r_Part_Numbers#Repair_Kit

Same gaskets as L18SSS or 180B SSS in Oz, Carburetor specialists should have them such as Carburetor Services in Burwood in Sydney.
