does any know if a webber 32/36 can go on a 1000 manifold? Or is it easy to put a 1200 manifold on A10 block.. has anyone done either of these?

i used the throittle linkage from the stock hitachi carb Carb Linkage pic

i bought a webber adaptor plate that fits the a-series engines from my local auto parts store and it said a series datsun it was a redline manifold.

i found the easiest way to get the fuel lines to do the right thing is to get an aftermarket fuel filter with the changeable ends say one of the anodised ones or glass ones so you can choose the line size for each end and have the in for fuel 1/4 and the out 5/16 and you will need a length of 5/16 hose aswell and maybe a couple fuel line clamps for the bigger hose. i'm yet to run mine cos i'm missing the idle mixture screw but as soon as i get mine it should be fine. and you shouldn't need any more than $150- 180, that includes rebuild kit carb from wreckers and filter hose and clamps. and also go to webber base settings

hope this helps

How about the bracket that holds the accelerator cable?
I bolted mine on the manifold and is very stable

Yes, the only "difficult" part of this is the cable bracket. I too used a loop of metal (aluminum, as it is easy to bend and drill three holes in it).

You can use the stock fuel pump, stock filter, stock inlet manifold. I bought a used carburetor that was from an L16 pickup, and used the stock jetting, which was close enough. I made the adapter plate. So I only spent a few bucks.

What does $115 NZ equate to in AU? Around $103AUD? I take it the boss kit is coming from Australia? Should be about $80 new in Australia in Aussie dollars plus freight?
