The mounting point must be standard in Australia.

I notice the Datsun bulletin shows a hole in the same position, so maybe all Coupe have two upper mounting points.

The top mount is from the original front shoulder sash. The bottom mount fro the inertia reel is mounted with a welded in backing plate.
The original belts although in reasonable condition , where such a pain in the ass, forever sliding off your shoulder - they had to go.
Now - sweet as.

Thanks for the info on the re tractor set up. Also just to confirm the rear belts are lap sash style?
Do you know the lengths of your buckles from the bolt hole?

Looks like Polo Mark 4 belts, but not all of them had retractors
