Ok I have a 56a smoothcase 4 speed box,i was told that they are a slightly better box than the ribbed 56a 4speed and that they came out of the sunny's...Does anyone know more about this mystery box and how much would they be worth?

Probably lighter than a regular gearbox, so may be better for low-torque applications like bone-stock A12 engine. Remember to add lightness
A 4-speed gearbox is worth around $50 to $75

I had a smoothcase 56. Sold it for $50. No better than the others.

The Sunny B310 smooth case has a closer-ratio gearset (60-series 4-speed)
But still worth around $50. Most buyers want a 5-speed
