Yep yep! I'm planning on blacking them out though, hate the chrome look (even though they're just polished). I got them cheap because the PO didn't like the polish job that he had done on them. So, his loss = my gain.

If you haven't made up your mind yet, let me say they look stunning on the B. I'm not generally a fan of chromey rims, but they look better than the dark look with your sedan

I wonder how it would look with the rubbing strip removed from the body?

the body strips and all the chrome look is going to go poof! gonna lower the front a little when i get my new 280zx strut/rotor/caliper swap done.

All the trim is gonna be blacked out and the bumpers are going as well, got something in mind for those

right now though my main focus is the interior while I save up for my KA24E swap

Hi
I am new to the forum. I have a 1978 120Y, that needs some work to get it back to its glory. I was hoping someone could point me towards a new LH Disc Caliper, as the current one is on bad shape.
I am also hoping to rebuild the carbie on it, or is it worth just buying a new one?

Going to enjoy getting the 120Y back.

There were two kinds of brake caliper for a 1978 120Y
* Japan caliper
* PBR caliper

PBR

Japan caliper is same as the 1200 RockAuto.com $47

The late 120Y rotors are 220 mm very common

* Your existing rotors can be machined like new
* New ones are no longer sold by the manufacturer (Nissan)
* Can be found at the wreckers on 1976-1982 120Y or B310.A12
* Car Marka sells them
* APEX DSK162
* BENDIX 561060B
* Brake Engineering DI824591
* TRW DF7103
* JURID 561060J
* Nissan 40206-H7500 new old stock
* eBay

Disc Brakes Australia sells the pads

No worries

Not worth it to rebuild, instead just clean and adjust it. Most old carbies I can get running well, unless they are damaged (in which case an rebuild kit won't help either). See Carburetor Repair

G'day all, thought I'd slip a coupla pics of the wee coupe I've been tinkering with. Picked it up in a very unloved state, the usual rust, shagged steering flogged out shocks, but it did come with an a14 sitting in it.
12 months after picking it up, she's got full rego and lots of new bits but it is still a work in progress....
