If it was around the wiper motor arm, it doesn't look right to me. But if you have a sedan aussie-assembled maybe that's what Lucas used

Definitely wasn't around the wiper pivots

Also not from the wiper motor

Only one side had one, however it does look a factory part

The way the notch in rubber is cut.
Also the angles and it was a perfect fit

It hasn't been done by hand, pretty confident it's a factory thing

It fills the gap between the lower water box panel and the underside of upper cowl panel

Im surprised no other Aussie cars have this, really does look to be a factory part

Think I'll have to check a few out

Here's some more photos of the Water Box (ventilation air box). As you can see, the wiper pivots go through it (near the windscreen) and the bonnet hinges go though it
