I finished the whole season last year (7 races)

came second in class by 1 point to a sunny, it was tight for points between 3 cars and that made it a lot of fun

but i had a lot of dramas, and spent a lot of hours keeping the car running. I think i won a high percentage of the stages i competed/finished in, but didn't compete in enough to win the year in fact the last race was the only one that really went super smooth and the car didn't need major work after

so due to time factor i'm not competing this year (kitchen renovations became high priority)

i did do 1 autocross at geelong early in the year, the little datto still loves a good thrashing, actually there is a couple of nice pics, will try to get around to uploading

Tiny update, the rally car last did an autocross in Dec 2017, but i got it running again towards end of this summer and drove it work for a couple of weeks

still goes strong, was strongly considering entering a rally for old time sake

Update pic. Had the rallycar at a rally festival in bayswater a couple of months ago. It last saw action dec2017. So many memories and fun to get it out. Drove it to work for a couple of weeks. Goes great

Well the rally car is at my brothers, he is supposed to be doing rust repairs (nothing horrible but just some typical body spots that we only ever fixed with bog etc) while we are all in ISO, but all i ever get is photos of his daughter playing with it

I think my "Isolation is over" party will be to do a rally late this year or early next, being restricted to home has really kindled my desire to go and thrash a car through the forest again....

Well... Solid progress. Thanks to my brother who did all the hard work. But we had a working bee yesterday where we sanded the primer and sprayed her. End up doing a pillars back as he has to move house soon we will have to finish the rest later. The new paint is slightly different due to unavailable ingredients and it looks much better in shade that the old colour actually.
