i have a bad noise caming from the block and done know what the hell it is!
its kind of a ticking noise anyone know what it could be?

First thing: Take off the rocker cover, and check the valve clearance. If one is way off, something's broken there.

Or, could be:
- cracked exhaust manifold
- leaking exhaust gasket
- bad bearing
- broken piston

I don't mean to sound stupid but, have you checked your oil? I had a noise like that when my oil was very low once just before the engine ceased.
