What could it be? Runs good when cold. Good while warming up. But not when up to full temperature
The two big things about the
DCZ306
1. It is an electronic feedback carburetor. Dunno how it runs without an electric control box. Perhaps overly rich?
2. It is a water-heated carburetor for even temperature regulation (enables consistent emissions). I think it is no problem to run on a dry manifold (without engine coolant running to the carburetor)
Then there is the idle-cut solenoid, but if that's not connected to 12V it will not idle (see
Anti-diesel_valve). Or the solenoid pintle can be removed
Or maybe the feedback system is why it stumbles when warm? I will try to think about this ...
Here is a control box from a Sunny with
DFC306, factory Nissan ECU controls the electronic feedback carb via input from O2 sensor. For 1990-1994 Nissan Sunny Truck (R-B122). I suspect the Sunny DFC and Vanette DFC units are similar
