Hey guys just a letting you in on the progress of the ute.The braking system is now complete with a remote brake booster under the dash and all new brake lines throught the car.
The clutch is now also complete with a ceremic button new pressure plate,the clutch master is under the dash with the resovoir bottle in the coner of the engine bay.
The excaust is 3" with a hi flow cat and stainless muffler dumping before the diff.

I replaced timing belt new fan belt reco alternater and starter motor. fuel system is now also complete with a malpassi fuel reg mounted on the firewall.

The wiring will be finished next week then off for the cooler. Im getting very excited now so a cruise will have to be organised so i can take it for its first run.

This is great news Luke. I'm pretty excited too, now I'll have someone I know wont be too lazy to show his ute off. We definately have to organise a cruise. How long roughly till its finished?

sounds like a beast of a ute. i have just recently restored a 1200 ute back to standard. not complete standard it has 12inch minilites and is sprayed in a original datsun blue with a little recing steering wheel. Mine is no match for urs. Standard A12 engine (recond.) mines cost 5grand so far including buying it off a guy in bathurst for 1,500. So good luck in getting ti on the road and hope to get in conect with u when u do.

thanks mate. im not sure the excact core size but it takes all availible space there without touching the grill so it is not very visible at all but very sufficiant.
