hey i have a 200b with a z18 turbo, and i blew my diff the other day. the old diff was a stanza and now i am looking at a bigger one i have been told that a hilux diff would be good dose anyone know how hard it is to put them in and how much they would cost to do. also if anyone knows any cheap and easy convertions other than hilux let me know. thanks guys

hey dude the Series 3 bluebird H190 is ment to bolt strait into the 200B

The H190 diff center will not bolt into the H165 rear axle housing, that is if your 200B is an early one with the Jap rear end. Most 200B's came with the Borg Warner rear axle.

The Bluebird [910] rear axle assembly is about 2 or 3 inches wider than the 200B, so even if you got it in, you will need to address the wheel & tyre clearance problem.

I discovered the width diference when i was converting my early 200B rear axle [H165] to disc brakes [from a 910] I had both rear axle assemblies together while sorting out which parts to use,... & discard.

i got the info from OZDAT no i havent done it myself.

now in his first post he is talking about a hilux diff, last time i checked the CENTERS dont FIT FROM THEM EITHER.

dude log onto ozdat.com and PM nitros13 and ask him about it.
as far as i know it WAS a BOLT IN diff!
