Mike if you get stuck I can get you one any day of the week here in Sydney for about $250 Aussie, and postage to the US isnt too steep.

I missed one on ebay by a minutes a week ago for $84 US was out bid at the end (I forgot about the auction)

Yes they are new Jeff Taylor has them for sale here in Sydney,if I were you I would check for clearance issues with the the brake master cylinder in a left hand drive car.

The New Zealand SSS model had a round port head & it definately benefited from its twin sidedraught carbs. I think that from a 'result oriented' perspective in a strictly street engine, the single sidedraught is the real 'value' way to go.
The twin sidedraughts just look hornier, but they are hard to see with the hood shut.
