Hi all, I just thought that I should let you all know about the Nissan Datsun Sports Owners Club, Tassie Tour '06'.

It starts from Feb 8th-15th 2006, and is a 6 day driving event around Tassie. On Sunday Feb 12th they will be in Hobart for a Shannon's show 'n' shine day on the Parliament House lawns starting from 9am-1pm. (All Nissan/Datsun owners welcome to enter on the day.)


So It maybe a possibilty that I may head down for the weekend and check it out, and take a few pics of the datto's.

I know this is our next meet for us launie guy's but this only come's around once a year.

Yeah i was going to go on it but left it a bit too late. I cant make it down to hobart either james and i dont think i can make it to the meet either as ive got commitments on that day

I won't be going down to Hobart for the shown 'n' shine on sunday the 12th now, as the only reason I was going down there, as I have free accommodation for 2 at Wrest Point Casino, and I found out today that it's fully booked on the Saturday night before.
Ah well the show 'n' shine only goes for 4 hours. But I should have booked in a few weeks earlier. (my bad)
A Spur of the moment thing I suppose, and I only just found out the date of the car display last night.

So I will be attending the next datto meet at 12pm on the 12th.
By the way I spoke to the owner of the orange 1200 coupe from Longford on Tuesday, That thing is a very nice example.

Bump...

I saw these guys today parker on the side of West Tamar highway. The green/silver 240Z had its bonnet up and plp gathering around it so it either had problems or they were in awe!

Any one else see them pass thru?
I didnt have time to stop and say hello unfortunatley...

Also I would like to report that I will not be attending the datto meet tomorrow Sunday 12th, due to work commitments.

ummm, its... ok... if you know where the supercheap/harvey norman is then follow this.... dirctly across from SC/HN (facing the river there is AAMI and a resturaunt, between them is a little street called CANAL ST go down there there is a turning circle and a carpark you will see the overpass well thats where we are..

OR....

as you come into launceston via the southern outlet follow the road,
all the way past office works
stay in the middle lane
go right at the "Y" you should now go under the overpass,
turn left (SC/HN on your right)
now before AAMI turn left again
We are down there....
