Thanks all .got my new tires [205/60/13]Icant seem to get low profile 13's.Cant get my engine to idle properly,so ill have to take the cabby off tomorrow.Still got some fine things to do with the car still..

Do they fit on the car now? I think they will rub on front guard and rear inner arch where Door bit is

I sure hope you didnt sand the flywheel and pressure plate with water LOL

Did you grease the input shaft and spigot bearing (centre of flywheel) before re-assembling?

Hey!I tried the wheels on they look super!Didnt grease the input shaft and spigot bearing (centre of flywheel) before re-assembling.What would happen?

It can be noisy when you push down on the clutch pedal. But with foot off (clutch disengaged) it is quiet.

You can solve it by removing the transmission and carefully applying grease to the rubbing surfaces. Don't put too much on or it can cause the clutch to slip. Follow the advice in your repair manual.

Thank you.The car is home now so hopefully i can Get more stuff done.Stared to Clean out the interior,I changed the bushings for the shifter.

Hi guys,just an update on what ive done so far.I took off my carburetor,Put on my stickers,and took down my gear box again.will be putting it back up 2morrow. I baught a new bearing.
