Hi

tried looking for an atricle about it, but from hat i can tell the a15 only can in the vannette. If this is so, was a GX head for them ever produced or twin carbs or anything like that.

basiclly I want to narrow down the hunt for one.
thanks

i found one in the trading post for $100, bought it complete, striped some good stuff including head off it and sold what was left for $100...... was out of a sunny wagon, aparently.
Most are from wagons but the vannete one is more common to find at a wreckers.... most people keep the sunny ones for some reason (i believe they are the same block and design anyway)

Japwreck might still have one
They had an A15 crank when I rang for one 2 weeks ago. Out of the engine and ready to ship to QLD if the other forum member I arranged it for bought it.

Thanks guys

Ill call japwreck. they are in cannington from memory.
The GX stuff then only came on the sunnys, and not the vans. I guess that is self explanitary.
Are the motors any different in the vans compared to the sunnys apart from the cam profile?
which I would think in the van offers more torque for load carrying.

looked at AGIs webpage and the fact that they list a datsun 1000 is a good sign indeed. That is always a good sign.
