Hello, new member and I'm from San Diego, California in the USA.

I bought a 1981 Datsun 210 (B310) off one of my dad's friend for $200USD right before the summer. It is all beat up but my friend and I are slowly working on it to bring it back up to looking good as new.

I have a few question:
1) I have metal bumpers front and rear on my car. I heard car's in other countries later on had plastic/integrated bumpers. Is this true and if it is how can I get one?

2) I have a A12A (American designated) engine and I am planning on swapping in a late 80's A15 engine and FS5W60A tranny (5-speed). What would I need to replace and change out (ECU, Fuel pump, Fuel filter, wiring, clutch cylinder, etc.)

3) I have rear drums on my car. I am planning on drifting the car and need to lock up the rear brakes every once in a while
I am thinking of using 1979-1981 or 1982-1983 280ZX disc brakes all around. What would I need for the front and rear conversion. Also would I need a different brake master cylinder/brake booster?

and lastly 4) What is the offset for the wheel? I have a factory 13x5 wheel.

Thank you! I've acquired some very good information on this site.

HI!
Is your b310 a hatch back or sedan? I have a hatchback.

I think putting the A15 in should be pretty easy, There isn't really an ECU, the fuel pump is on the engine, Wiring should be mostly the same, same clutch cylinder. You'll definatly want the A15 tranny too.

I have a set of early 80's 280zx front nuckles, strut, and brakes, I haven't gotten around to trying to fit them. I was waiting to make a set of coilovers out of the struts and put it all in at once. rear brakes, you are better to swap the 200sx rear axle and get disks and a stronger diff. It's not an exact easy swap, but many have done it.

I have 195x50x15's on mine. I spent too much money on my setup, i have old heavy rims and had custom spacers made. but they look nice.

if you don't want your front bumper i'll take it if it's not bent.

i have some random b310 parts and whatnot, so send me a message if you need anything.

Mine is a 2 door.
200SX rear axle? Which year?
I need to find the right wheel size so the tires wont be rubbing on the inner fender.
I do have a front bumper, but I think I'll keep it until I find an alternate front.
Thanks for the reply.

the 200sx rear axle comes from an 81 200sx, search here for h190 diff. or ask Leosnake_2000 about it, he's working on one and is also here in CA.
