I'm looking for a CA18DET with computer and loom if anyone knows where I can get one. If anyone can tell me what models the stumpy gearbox came in it would be appreciated as well as I'm looking for one of those as well.

Thanks all.

1. Buy a Zoom/FFR/HPI magazine
2. L24 powered R30 Skyline (big 2.4 badge on back)

Nissansilvia.com. Many people ditch these motors cheap in favour of an sr20(fools).
The stumpy box is out of an r30 skyline but you need to fit a ca bell housing from a series3 bluebird, or so the story goes.Nissan gazelle runs a fs5w71b(r30 box) behind a ca20 so in theory this is the correct box to use. My only consern is that people much wiser than me in such matters have gone the skyline/ca mix.I would be very interested to know the diference between these boxes as they have the same serial #.I will try and post a link to some info I found on these boxes witch suggests the r30 box like the 240/260z box is a close ratio box fs5c71b, c meaning close ratio and w meaning wide ratio. It seems every r30 box I've seen has been a w.I am by no means trying to #### on the people who told me of the skyline/bluebird combo, I apreciate the freeflow of info that happens on this site and am just giving some food for thought.
