I recommend you dont go cheap when it comes to rear shocks. Talk to a suspension place and get a quote. The shocks should be matched to the springs. I would NOT use these stock rated shocks on a CA project. Axle tramp will be your biggest enemy.

High lift and high revs dictates the need for heavier springs. The ca18 engines are 25 years old with who knows what thrashing the springs have had. I dont know that springs and retainers are needed, but I wasnt married back then, so I didnt need to be sensible with budget. Ive only managed 188kw at 12 pound boost, but forged pistons, turbo, cams are designed for 20-25 pound boost.

Sumith needs to write a book on his many datsun problems he has suffered over the years. It would be a long book with interesting tales.

You get bigger springs because of spring supply issues. The heavier springs help valve bounce at high revs.

You wont find any camshafts with 15mm lift. I used JUN springs and retainers in my ca18, and i run 9.25mm lift tomei cams, standard valves. I'm yet to spend the time/money to get a proper tune. But ive had no problems.

Datsandy, i thought i clearly answered your questions. There is a vaccuum routing diag on the net drawn up by someone on NICO forums. The only difference of DE to DET is there is a turbo boost solenoid and DET uses dropping resistor for the injectors.

Superfatto, if it reaches all the way to the front panel, then its probably the cold idle solenoid under the throttle body.
