Sumith, you've always been a good datsun community member, I will send you a knob. Let me look amongst my piles of spares.

if you are fitting disc, then you need master cylinder and splitter (that has spring and valve to close off one circuit if one is leaking). also need to make up some new front lines.
raid a late model ute or 120y for the parts. 120 master has a different pushrod that attaches to brake pedal, and you cant use the single circuit drum brake one. 120y brake pushrod can be shortened but you may need to cut more thread on the shaft to give enough adjustment.

JUN is top shelf stuff. I have JUN valve springs in my CA18. Similar brand quality to Tomei and HKS.

looking for a series 1,2 bluebird with h165 diff is where you need to start looking. 3.7 diff is what you need. My 180rwkw ca18det 1200 has a 3.45 diff and its no fun on acceleration but is good on the freeway.

The regulator needs to match the alternator. The lucas regulator is a small aluminium finned thing. The other one has a huge block regulator.

an sr20de or sr20ve would be great. My 1200 was capable of 130mph+ with a ca18de.
you could get engine and loom for less than a grand. If it was my daily that's what I'd do. if you get another car later on, you could put a worked VE head and the would perform almost as good as a stock sr20det.
turbo is not always the best answer.
