I have just got back on line at 1200.com after 3 weeks of not being able to log on!!!!

I have upgraded to broadband and 1200.com would not allow me to log in even when I applied for a new password and used it to log in!!!!!!!

After a PM from B120_dat he gave me the good oil that my firewall was probably the culprit. It is a coincidence that Coup1200 also has this same problem.

I wonder how many other members
are in the same boat???????????

Thanks B120_dat. I owe you !!!!

yup i had that a while back and it was due to the forum engine these blokes are running datsun1200.com on, XOOPS.

heres an article click
it also has instructions on how to fix the problem on your computer, no matter what your firewall type.

Quote:
(most notably software firewalls such as Norton and ZoneAlarm) block this information being sent to the server

these two firewall products are among the worst available on the market. norton products will generally #### your computer.

I've just been able to get back on as I've gone a week without being allowed on kept saying invalid login.

But after running a spyware scan found some cookies that aren't good, so I deleted them and now i can get back on and outlook works as well.

Cheers
Damo
