Just replacing most of my bushes at the moment as most are cracked and quite usless as requested also from Pedders when i had it all inspected.
Ive done the upper and lower rear trailing arms, now im up to the front on the Pedders invoice it says to replace radius, idler, sway bar and check upper bushes in 10 000k....
Now is the radius arm, is that the tension rod or part of the steering ass? My manual doesnt have anything about a radius or i just cant find it.

And lower bushes that would be refering to the lower arm yeah? I might aswell replace them now whilst im in the area.
Also i need a ball joint remover, are they very expensive?

oh and im using polyurethane Sure Trak bushes, a nice blue colour

Cheers
Dave

radius rod=castor rod = The arm from balljoint to front of body.

All the same thing.

Balljoint removers are cool, but you can use 2 hammers, hitting either side of the steering arm part where the tierod goes through, don't bash on the tierod end.

Cheers

hi dave
how about you see my brother at Pedders Suspension and let the team down there handle all your suspension needs.
Anyway the ball joint, just bolts in so you don't need any special tool for the job.

Yeah nismo thats where i went!!
The problem is they quoted me $750 for replacing bushes, spacers and trailing arm... So far ive bought lower and upper bushes and a new trailing arm and its cost me about $140, and I am yet to buy the sway bar, radius and idler arm bushes but their all sitting there.
A fair bit cheaper in my books and at the same time ive given everything a thourough clean and repsray in black so a more extensive job!

The new bushes are bloody hard to get back in but! Due to them not being as compressed its hard to get them all lined up, gradually getting there tho.....
