you are 100% correct there are alot of dicks out there giving us a bad name but they most likely spoil it for every one if these rediculous laws and descrimination keeps up....

keep the speed to the track where there is run-off and no kids on the streets...
if you guys really reckon youre that good at driving and have some sort of legal right to speed then come and prove yourselves at the track first....which by the way you never do....or when you do you get hammered....
I used to think the same.. that I could drive quite decently on the street and then got into a Formula Ford where I got flogged...you guys have no idea...

the hoon plates r bad and i have sent my emails, but what get me going more is the law that they want to bring in here in vic to impound your car

up here in qld and nsw they can already impound your car.and they will sell it on your 3rd offence.
if your stupid enough to be racing or doing burnouts on the street , you deserve to get your car confiscated.
why are hoon plates bad.
wouldnt it be funny to see the d1ckhead from down the road who is constantly racing up your street at 100mph, slowly drive past with a big hoon plate in his window....
anyone who wants to endanger anyone else by driving like a wanker deserves to be a pedestrian.
ive been pulled over stacks of times just for driving a hot car and even been told by a copper and i quote( thas what you get for driving a car that attracts cops) end quote.
i asked what sort of cars attract cops and he had no response.
its the small groups of people who like to race on the motorways, in our streets and around the neighborhoods that give the rest of us genuine car enthusiasts the bad name.

hey i totally agree with converted alot of my mates think they are top sh1t on the street but once a couple tried a couple of laps in an actuall circuit race they discovered the real truth.

I dont believe hoon plates are a good i dea because most of the hoons around are prowd of being so and there fore giving them a h plate will become a status symbol "your not a cool unless you have one" kind of thing will arise within all local meeting points.

I think theyre a blight on the Datsun Marque and will end up just destroying another Datsun and or leaving a greasy red spot on the road....too easy to lose it and hit a gutter then youre history....

Converted i see your point and it's a very valid point but I don't think thats what this email thing was about it was about the people who like to go out and cruise or park somewhere with a whole lot of mates and not get hasseled, this email thing is designed to show people we aren't all ####wits in commodores who do burnouts and race anything with 2 or more wheels etc.

Because the sd fact is if you have a half decent car then teh cops are all over you as a nice car has the stereotype of being a hoon which in most cases it isn't it's the people in the half done cars who spoil it for everyone....

i sent an email. im all for showing the whole car scene not just the hoons and losers.
i gave them my details to take em out and show them we are all not hoons, i no alot of ppl with done up cars who arnt hoons and drive to a normal matter, saying that i know heaps of hoons to.
HOON plate? haha sero wouldnt bother me to have it on my car or not, as said b4 some/most would brag or joke about having a "hoon plate" i no i would haha.
