OK, so i have replaced my a12 with an a15 in my sunny and got it running! Only thing is that my extractors from my original a12 motor did not fit onto the a15 as they hit the inlet manifold, therefore I used the stock a15 exhaust manifold!

I have to take it to the exhaust place and my question is in regerds to getting it there! Apart from the noise, is there any harm to the motor if it is driven straight out manifold? The exhaust place about a 5 minute drive from my house! Does the motor run leaner or something?????

Just leave the driveway sideways & tach her up for just a few seconds , just to hear what kinda noise she can make

it will be fine, an exhaust place stuffed up my bolts and did not bolt them up tight... they fell off and i drove 20km sounding like a v8 supercar... it was great, got pulled over 3 times in 15kms but they let me go as i said hit a bump and told them what happened (sort of true) and was taking to exhaust place that did it ... gave them address and they were fine...

I drove around for a few days with the exhaust coming straight out of the extractors. 7000rpm 3rd gear sideways sounds absolutaly trick.

Although i never risked leaving the safety of the little secluded area i live in (near the bush) and even then when making small journeys through main areas the hand was in the ready position to shut it down if a suss car was coming. Let me tell you it was freaking loud.
