radiator support mods?

Is it possible to legally modify the radiator support bracket so that it's removable. I was thinking how much easier it would be taking motor & gearbox in & out, especially for an engine swap. (i'm in Queensland)

Personally, I would ask an accredited engineer's opinion to be safe because it's not an easily reversible mod if you do get defected.

Having said that, my ute has had the support panel modified in this manner and it is engineered so I wouldn't see it being an issue.

yes I would say so...it would make doing engine changes ALOT easier. However I would question why for a street car you would have to pull the engine so many time...I can understand a race car but not for street. I would like to do it in my race car however class rule disallow it
