Hey guys, have been reading these forums for a while and thought i'd pop in and say "HI".
I've had my 1200 sedan for 8 months now, picked it up for $900. All straight except drivers door and rear seal panel! also has a little rust in the passenger fwd & rear qtr's & little in passanger doors!
My Plans:-
-Stirpped then painted FORD CITRIC ACID
-Already have TRX rims that i'm gonna get powder coated White.
-Mazda Familiar GTR front seats
-r31 coilovers, KYB shocks, r32 4pots, 280mm rotors, Braided lines.
-Hilux diff, custom tail shaft
-rebuilt rear leaf, with inbuilt anti-tramp bars
-Then rebuilt ca18det and 5 speed, hks gt25 or 25/35-40r, 660cc injectors, custom IC, hopfully around 200-220rwkw maybe more fingers crossed.
Have to beat my mates Gemmi which ran 11.6 @ 116mph AIR

Well thats me saying HI and my plans!
I need some rust free dent free front guards any one?

Cheers Kym

Hi and welcome.

You can get some aftermarket guard from parts people like panel house. they are about $80 each new. thats the best way just sand them and undercoat.

There are alot of new stuff on ebay.

Matbighat - wash yer mouth out! We don't like them kind around here!

Ah, could be worse I guess - could be a Holden

Dude, for new panels, if you don't like ebay, check out AP panel house on Churchill road in Kilburn (opposite the Albion Hotel - handy!)

Cheers,

TC

Oh.. and welcome by the way!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! This is a great forum with heaps of relevent info, spose thats because we all love our datto's and are not just cheque book racers like another forum I visit (ref my sig).
Have had the plans for a while but only just going to start them now, not expecting to get it done over nitght either. Just bit by bit, no rush for me!
Has anyone painted their colour CITRIC ACID yet? interested to see what it looks like on a beast!
Once angin Thanks

Kym
