g'day all

i bought a tacho today that fits where the clock is on 78 1200 ute (my clock is broken anyway) how do you remove the clock so i can fit the gauge.

If you put your hand up behind the dash, in the corners of the clock there are some screws that hold it to the inset of the dash, and a bolt or screw that holds it to a bracket attached to the dash itself, you'll need to unplug the lights at the top. it's pretty easy to do, you don't even need to take out the dash althouhg it is easier.

i got a speco meter tacho, it's very small, white faced and go's up to 9 grand i think, it was 100 from autobahn on moss street.

also cheers on the info for removing the clock.
