I need one so can finally get a blue slip on the 2dr, the auto elect carn't seem to find me a replacement.

Your electrician isn't really trying very hard

Its a 10x1mm thread thats the problem
Most of the readily available ones are 1/8 NPT

VW run a 10x1 switch too so get one from them. Tell em its a mid 70's bettle

Or get the lazy bugger to mount a pedal mounted one like the coupes had

i'v had to buy 2 for my 1000 in past years bursens or repco have no trouble getting one and I live in tassie
