That is why I chose the VW Golf rotor.
NO modifications to the 200B hub.
The rotor needed to have 4 holes drilled to mount it to the 200B hub and the centre hole enlarged, that was all.
Then I designed the calliper mount to enable it to be machined to position the calliper dead centre over the rotor.
I figured it was far easier to "adjust" the custom bracket that frig around with all the other bits.
But barring a really bad day of "production spread", the design value [7mm offset] should be just fine

I've fitted Series 4/5 RX7 brakes to several Datsun 1200s and I did it a little differently from what has been suggested here. I used the 50mm dia Nissan strut tube and fitted it to the Mazda bottom assembly. I redrilled the Datsun bottom arms to bolt on the Mazda lower ball joints. Then you get the 5 stud pattern, alloy caliper and hub, a decent sized disc and alloy ball joints as well. Simple, no machining or alignment issues it's light and looks trick.

Maddat set up has re-built calipers, new wheel bearings, new bolts and nuts, new brake lines, new brake pads, laser cut brakets, painted ,zinked and an engineers report. Thats where the extra costs come into it.

i can guarantee you i wont pay 800 $$ for that and my brackets are laser cut, my dad is a boiler maker and knows ppl in the industry so its gonna turn out to be a lot cheaper, im not saying this is a cheaper alternative for any person but it definitely will be for me. and why the hell do you think they are gonna fall off? im pretty sure a piece of paper doesn't MAKE them stay on. some ppl just dont like the idea of trying it yourself it seems, thanks to everyone else for the help tho, especially graemes50
