Ive decided to sell my original 1968 VB10
so many backflips but the B10 has complained since Ive put him up for sale since he was here first and later came the Van.
This Van was too good to refuse even when I agreed to my wife that Id only need the B10 as a rotary project car.
Luckily she still with me (the van or wife?) but one has to go and well see which one is first.
Well its a one owner
immaculate interior, Absolutely no rust, never resprayed original Burgundy Red Plum inside out except shes sanded back to bare metal now with thin marine protective coat till I decided if going to two pack or acrylic. Always under cover, has original A10 running gear with about 104,000 miles from original, and still has the original old leads and I changed the 30 year old sparkplugs as she was dry stored for that time in a North Melbourne Warehouse. Now dry stored in my brick garage.
The engine purrs like new, gearbox excellent, clutch everything excellent however old fuel needs to be drained from tank, lines and carbi as its sat for a while, she starts up with a little fuel in the carb would really need an additive as well as the mentioned.
Body has been flared minimally lipping the inside guard out with great care and slight amount of filler to smoothen edges looks like original. This was done to fit a set of 13x6.5 watanabe RS.
Its ready to be painted and assembled.
front guards have been chemically stripped and galvanised, yes galvanised (i was very anal about preserving perfect guards) and bonnet and doors are perfect. removed the window bar carefully to suit single rear window like the famous japanese gold vb10.
Here are some shots of the interior (note steering wheel was just a trial and has almost perfect original steering wheel with chrome
