stonger manual box for ca

hey guys
im chasin a gearbox to that will fit behind a ca18det rwd which is stringer than the factory ca box. i need it to bolt straight up without changing tailshaft or clutch etc.
plz let me know what is out there that will suit

I've heard of people using the RB gearboxes....don't know much about it though

rb 25 box is nearly unbreakable
prepared to pay about $1000
Just swap the ca belhousing onto the RB box

well it should be making around 300 hp at the wheels. its going to be going for powercruise so i dont really wanna go out there and the thing ####s itself.
might look for an rb25 box then ay

yeh the ca boxes are terd
car went on the dyno for the first time llast night and the box crapped itself.
gotta put another one in just for powercruise.
man i hate dynos

hey perthute sr20 and ca18 gearboxes are EXACTLY the same, just different bellhousing.

RB25 boxes are massive compared to the CA18 box. Have fun fitting it....major tunnel work. Different tail shaft too.
