I have been experimenting with fuel injection from a superbike to a A14. Good news guys.....this weekend I had it running. Got sum pics up to show it on/off the car.

We had it idling but couldnt drive it because the fuel pump was an internal pump and couldnt be mounted externally.
Have ordered new pump from www.tweakit.net hopefully be here before the cruze this weekend!!!

what computers it running? looks like your using the bike injectors and fuel rail too
is the engine stock other than the injection?

going to try to do the same thing with a set of GSXR 600 quads on my L series probably running a haltech E6X if i can find a cheapish one second hand

wouldnt say its injection no ones tried, it gets done all the time on hondas in the US and ive seen a few setups on the BMSC rally forum. but still good work getting it going

be interesting to see how it runs once its got enough fuel going to it

honda setup

they didnt use the bike injectors as they werent big enough

how have you gone about setting up the tune for it, did you use a map sensor or did you tune it to throttle position Vs RPM?
also how big are the r6 throttle bodies?

a combination with the f7 it has a map sensor running a vaccume pipe to the comp. also a TPS, and a ignition pickup. it also has air temp sensors and coolant temp sensors.

I didnt have it running for long. but i will find out this weekend how the bike injectors go. the specs of the bike say the setup is good for 130hp+ @16000rpm.....who knows how they will go on the car.

ID of the inlet is about 38mm

lol couldnt imagine how much horses they trying to get out of the VTEC. more than some bike injectors will supply.....i would like to get 130HP from the A14.....but doubt it

is that 38mm at the butterfly? if so im thinking thats a tad big for anything less than a full on race spec A series
its like having 45mm webbers with 38m chokes

said in the link that the injectors had a pretty poor flow rating, im assuming they were comparing to stock VTEC injectors

mmm thinking, probably wouldnt have to be a race spec engine. but would want a decent cam and a bit of porting to make use of them

good luck
