Does anyone know if 1200 Coupes are accepted under the historic touring car regs?

I know that sedans are but have a friend that would like to do a coupe.

Also, anyone have any 1200 coupes or sedans for sale let me know. Only need a reasonable (not pristine) condition that would suffice for use to build a race car.

Cheers

I was at Warwick pit crewing for a friend back in May for 2 days of historic racing. And there was a coupe there. I was talking to a fella with a 1600 and he was taking his coupe back in August. So I recon they must qualify under one of the classes. I'll try and find out for you.

Group N is the class you are looking for and is for Production cars built before 31/12/1972
This class is for(the newest)of the old car classes currently available.

So if you have a car with a build date the same or older than this your in.

Yeah there was a 1600 running out at the masters a few week ends ago If i can remember correctly they were in Grp N very popular catagory. I also saw a 2 door 1600 left hook with the double front bumper vary rare.(not racing)
