What i have done with my old seats? I put them away and got a pair of Honda CRX. They are not like Sparko,Momo,Recaro and other but they are good buckets...
Also i forgot to say that i kept my original seat bars.

Hi.I fitted Laser seats into my 120y. I just welded a plate of 2mm steel about 75mm square on to the bottom of the seats over the other bolt hole positions, drilled new holes so as to center the seat and used the original bolts with spring washers and ht nuts.
Used the original dato seat rails. Depending on the new seat and the dimensions involved you may be able to reuse some of the existing holes. I was going to get excited and weld the nuts onto the bottom of the 2mm plate before welding it to the seat but impatience got the better of me. If you do this be sure to make up a splatter gaurd (even thick cardboard might work) so as not to burn holes in your seat when welding (hindsight is a wonderful thing)
They work fine and it passed the blue slip.
