Is that a coating of some sort?

Surely they're not made entirely of carbon fibre.

FINALLY... a rocker cover better than the stock one. Unlike aluminum which adds weight, this should be lighter than stock.

no way that is a digital print (bandit Blues) it looks convincing to me however i dont think it would look that good on the engine ! but each to his own!
