no chasis damage = ecomonic write off not ststutory

sorry for working for a national car insurance company for 3 years.... i thought i understood all the different states rules- seing they are covered by the national revs database(tassie should be onthere by now never used to be 2 years ago).things could have changed but vic roads, rta, qd transports, sa regency and wa pits all had similar rulings over insurance write offs(if ststuutory - cant legally reg in Australia) got nothing to do with age of car.

only time age comes into it is economic write off.

Still glad to see its not on the scrap heap.
you could get an alloy ca rad like supafattos now- cools like nothing else apparently.

Dont really care or want to argue with anyone mate i just go on what the assessor told me, There is a possibility i herd wrong. Anyway this is meant to be a project build thread not the great insurance debate. Thanks for your input and positive comments on Mr Hankys return, yes im looking at those radiators on ebay. Next step is put all me Silvia disc and caliper 120y setup in the front and fit up a 180b booster.

why the booster? not really needed on such a small car?
probably better with the 120y/s13 conversion though instead of instant lock up

wasnt looking to bicker, thought the info they may have given you was not quite right- doesnt matter as long as you still have car and it can still be regoed.

Booster to make braking easier with SR in it and may as well compliment the 4 wheel disc setup with a smooth pedal.

Another phone pic, Got majority of the dent/crease in Radiator support out and played with the spare apron i had, ready to weld it on now. Turns out i have a coupe apron as it has all the tabs for the coupe grill to screw on to. Next step change to SR cross member and lower motor in so i can make cardboard engine mounts then go get some 4mm plate bent and transfer templates.
