I doubt that a speedway guy would have let it go with the double valve springs. Is this an old speedway head? Measure the thickness and let us know. I got burnt recently selling one that I didn't bother measuring. It was missing 6mm or more. The speedway guys rip heaps off them to bump up the comp to 14:1 with methanol.

I took a gander at my GX head today to compare my chamber to the one in that pic. Mine doesn't have the flat edge along the bottom. It'd be safe to assume that this head must have beeen skimmed to change the shape like that.

Hey fellas, i brought this one at a swap meet recently, the bloke said he didnt know what it was of and it was on a 120y when he got it. he said ithad double valve springs but he rekon'd that it worked better with singles.
