Does anyone have one of these as a spare that they'd be willing to sell?

I can repair mine but it's weighing in a little more than the other so I reckon I'm better off replacing it.

EDIT: Prefer the old metal type. Not plastic.

Yeah for those prices I could get replacement plastic ones for both carbs.... I'm seriously broke at the moment so those prices are too much for me (last resort I suppose). I hardly had enough cash for the fuel on the cruise today almost had to swap my lunch money for premium 98 instead!!

The weight difference is about 3 to 4g so I'm not entirely sure how much that would affect it. Stock weight is 26g.

I reckons 3 to 4g is enough to have an impact...

PS Premium 98 is not so good for the digestion system

Just popped out to the shed and weighed some plastic DCOE floats. They come in at 21g.

Why not just add 3 - 4 grams of solder on to the 'not repaired' one to even it up?

Yeah thanks for that, that's what I had mentioned before I edited my post but I wasn't sure if that was good practice. By the looks of things the previous owner had shimmed one float to pick up the balance so to speak. Not sure which to do.

The one I'm looking at replacing seems to have had a lot of repairs and I don't want it failing.... maybe I should just repair it and get on with it.
