Well guys this 76' ute started out having a good life until it was left for dead outside in the weather by the previous owner,I needed a project while i'm working in WA so i brought her. I have owned her for about 8months now and have put in heaps of hours trying to fix the body as it was far gone as you will see in pic's when i post them up soon.i will keep posting pic's up until she is finished. I hope you guys enjoy this build as much as i am. will post pic's soon

So guys the first thing i did was pull everything off and out of the shell,
then it was onto doin rust repair which i tell ya has been painful but worth while. I welded all rust holes and made my own sills.
I'm a big fan of the shaved look so i filled in the indicators on the guards, have cut and smoothed all the water rails. and replaced the tray as it had alot of rust holes.so the tray is now flat and smooth instead of the orignal rippled tray.

ohhh boys i almost forgot check out me grille,

got all new chrome moulding aswell.

do have a spare grille in ok condition with D badge plus a set of mouldings too
if anyone is chasing......

doesnt look like it was all that bad structurally...i bet buffing all the surface rust off was all kinds of fun for you though

oh yeah i tell ya that surface rust was fun fun fun!!!!!!
and timely too i spent hours get that off.
thank god for wire wheels and flapper disc's

i was about to say "look, you can polish a turd", but its probably got less rust in the engine bay than mine does/did.
