The price reflects that it is a developed and heavily worked performance engine, not because it is mechanically injected or something.

People put years and years into developing an engine this takes a lot of money also.

most A series don't produce 172bhp without nitros. So if you want a light engine with power it all costs. anyone can do 110-140bhp.
price down to $5,500. loosing too much now.

i had a A14 in my speedway car, one of the most developed A14 motors in australia. there was a build thread of it in zoom magazine ages ago. unless you sell it to another speedway racer you will be lucky to get $2000. better off selling the parts. also being a race motor it will need some mods done to run in a street car and converted to run unleaded fuel. even then with a realy high compression ratio i dont think it will run well. i tried selling mine on here and all i got was low ball offers. from a racers point of view its well worth the money but from the average datto fan its way to much. i can hear them all saying F THAT! but you have to think for that kind of money they could pretty much do a CA conversion if they did all the work them self.

good luck with the sale
