So i was trolling for some s13 rotors and came across this the ass end of a 180sx.
As its for sale for $650 could this not be a possibility as apposed to shortening a r31 diff?
Or would the work required far out weigh the benifits?

yeah speak to scott @ maddat about it
there is a bit of work involved but its not that complicated and after going for a ride in his 1200 the benefits are definately worth it that thing sticks to the road like glue and one ride was enough to convince me to do this in my ute
ive got the 180sx rear end also and will be starting his conversion soon

hi guys ,im doing the same conversion with a 200sx rear subframe ,there is a thread on here somewhere that has pics of the maddat conversion and other peoples builds from start to finish , if you can find it it will save you some design time . my design is to have rocker suspension and push rods so as not to have anything come up through the tray , still in the design stage .

stock ute springs are designed to carry 500kg of crap in the back... thats why they suck

this is probably the best thing you can do for your 1200 but ute springs are definitely the worst thing
