I had a hell of a lot of play in my steering column due to a worn and crumbling bush, with a motorsport event coming up in a couple of weeks and no time to search for parts I had to think up another dodgy levey fix!
Here it is, nolothane steering bush made with a 32mm hole saw and a little bit of sanding to get a nice fit (nolothane from spare 120y LCA).
Should last for a while & zero play in the column now

Thats a good idea, It'd be good if you could by sheets of nolathane and make your own bushes etc. Hmmm...

I got sick of playing with the shaft Mik!
Nylon would probably be better for bushes but I only had nolothane :(
