Hey fellas the clutch in the 1200 let go today and I cant recall as its been years since I did the conversion what pressure plate does it use? I know mines still 180mm pressure plate as I had a heavy duty setup made by Direct Clutch Albion. Is it off the shelf Toyota 180mm or a 180mm Datsun pressure plate with a Toyota spline.

Interested to see whats buggered in it. Till this day hasn't slipped at all. Hard shift into 3rd and now she slips like buggery. Managed to adjust the cable enough to make it driveable. All the way to the floor with basically no free play.

Usually its a 190mm Toyota plate with the other fudged abit to fit in the 180mm Datsun cover if need be

Thats my recollection anyway
I just use a full 200mm Toyota clutch on a redrilled flywheel

Im sure it's a Datsun clutch plate with a Toyota spline. I believe it was done that way so you could use the same release bearing and pressure plate, then again I could be wrong

Here's what I remember:
The datsun A-series and toyota T50 clutches are essentially the same apart from the spline. The datsun is available in 160 (A10) and 180mm diameters (A12-A15), I also think there might be a 190mm e-series. The toyota is available in 180, 190 and possibly 200mm diameters. Just count the splines on your gearbox input shaft and pop down do a proper clutch shop (not supercheap) and ask them for the diameter to suit your pressure plate.
