after nearly a year i still have not found myself a second hand thermo fan from a wrecking yard. the only cars i really looked at were old pulsars, ie, n12 n13.
someone please someone tell me which cars had thin thermos as the pulsars thermos are too wide and will hit the water pump, and on the opposite side wont fit at all. i only have about 10 to 11cm space.

i used an electric fan from a Sentra( i dont know what its called outside the US)
Anyways, its a tight fit. The water pump pulley fits in between two of the 'spokes' that holds the fan motor, about 10mm away from the fan. With the vibrations and flexing from normal driving, the pulley noched the fan for me. LOL, now there is more room.
There is a picture in the YahooClub about an electric fan install. That's the same fan.
Angelo
ps- that is, of course, if you can get into the pictures part of the YahooClub

hey man, try a early(1990) mazda astina, the pop up headlights one, yeah there is a real thin fan at the front that is perfect, also try nissan P10 primera/infinity thermofans, they have 2 fans side by side, and it is easy to seperate the smallest and this looks to be an easy fit.
good luck, choice from chris

simmo! dude, i been meaning to give you a call for ages, but my phone got stolen, and it had both your numbers in it

slowly building up the adelaide 1200 club...

i dude in a white coupe chased me down the other day after i passed him on anzac highway. Had a chat, and he's in for some cruises now and then. That makes a total of nearly 8 1200's i think. gimme a call dude, you still got my number?

on the side of fans....i picked up a flexi fan the other day....works good, keeps it cooler, and less drag on the engine at high revs.

later
