What does the letter after the DHLA stand for on Dellortos? Not explained in tech wiki

I found stuff talkin about DHLA 40 N and also DHLA 40 F and it was referring to the jetting of the carbs

I think it refers to a specific model of the DHLA. Not 100% sure now but i think there were some economy versions with those suffixes which had different progression hole drillings. The universal performance type DHLA has no suffix. Dellortos are very popular in NZ, far more common than Webers on the A-series.

just model prefixes, some for factory cars, some for emissions some just revisions upgrades etc..
I don't know of a list with the differences
