I would love to get my hands on a Vector file for an A series head gasket so i can play with 83.5mm offset sleeved bores in terms of location for the combustion chambers and any other issues then if all good then get custom HG made.

You may be able to find an engineering mob around who have a scanner for these type of things. It scans in direct to say dxf.

I can email you a PDF of a standard gasket. Send me your email address and I'll send tomorrow.

Alternatively I can do the alterations for you and email the outline of the bores and block face with the cylinder head combustion chambers overlaid.

What cylinder head is going on this motor?

sorry missed these posts
PM sent

Im hoping if welder gets time between his other work, a round port base with 8mm unitary rocker cover with flip lid and raised ports beyond head line height by welding behind the new alloy plate walls. However bike style bolt on flange will be difficult challenge using CNCing

The bigger challenge is sleeving so close to oil feed on side of block base

The oil passages and cam location looks good so far
http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/v ... ASC&type=&mode=0&start=90

bore 1 and 4 can go out, 2 and 3 go in and a tad towards in/exhaust side

Is there a website where the pics of the raised port head came from?

It's a photoshopped image.

Still haven't found the PDF yet D, I think I named it something obscure. Will search again tomorrow.

Jmac my dream concept unfortunately for extra flow or more central flow into the bore, means hitting the water galleries but once welded on top above the ports on the rocker base area, then inside can be welded. The walls would be strong enough been 8mm thick to also support top head studs.

Cool Chris will be good to once and for all see if its possible to go so large with the ease of moving the bores around, offsetting them etc.
